InSite Support Team

The InSite Studio team is known as the Advanced Learning Technologies (ALT) group within the Human and Systems Engineering thrust of the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems (CAVS). ALT leverages experience in flash production, graphic design, instructional design, curriculum development, human-computer interaction, software design, and usability evaluatiuon. The team has focused its research on elearning technologies for ten years, including active participation in the development and early adoption of IEEE Learning Technology Standards and the ADL Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM). InSite Studio is the result of four years of research on the improvement of the quality of instruction and the efficiency of the content development process, which was enhanced by direct liaison with educators and trainers across the state.
